Doing All Right : ウィキペディア英語版 | Doing All Right
"Doing All Right" is a song by British rock band Queen. It was composed by Brian May and Tim Staffell while in the Smile. It is the second track on their first studio album ''Queen'', recorded between June and December 1972 at Trident Studios in London. The song changes throughout from a lighter opening and shifts to a heavy metal-inspired section; this repeats once more to conclude the song. This is one of the few songs to feature May on a piano. May used his old Hairfred acoustic guitar on this tracks such as "White Queen (As It Began)" and "Jealousy". Staffell sang vocals on the original version, Mercury tried to sing in the same manner when it became a Queen song. ==Live performances== The band first played "Doing All Right" on August 23, 1970 with Barry Mitchell as the bassist. The early live performances would have been similar to the Smile version. It was later on when the song featured Mercury on piano. The song was last performed in late 1977. None of these live performances have been officially released.
